Types of Garage Door Openers We Install

At A Plus Garage Doors, we offer professional garage door installation services designed to upgrade the look, safety, and performance of your home or business. Whether you need a straightforward replacement or a complete system upgrade, our skilled technicians deliver reliable solutions tailored to your specific needs. We take the time to understand your requirements and present options that balance quality, functionality, and cost-effectiveness for every project.

Chain-Drive Openers

The most affordable and common type, chain-drive openers use a chain to move the door along its tracks. They're durable and reliable but tend to be noisier than other options. We install quality chain-drive systems for homes where noise isn't a primary concern.

Belt-Drive Openers

Belt-drive openers use a rubber belt for quiet, smooth, vibration-free movement. They’re ideal for attached garages where noise matters and, while slightly more expensive, offer excellent value for their quiet performance.

Screw-Drive Openers

Screw-drive openers use a threaded rod to move the door, offering reliability with fewer moving parts than chain or belt systems. They require less maintenance and provide consistent, dependable operation. These are excellent for homes in dusty or sandy environments.

Benefits of Professional Opener Installation

Proper Measurement and Mounting
Incorrect installation can result in misalignment, improper tension, and safety hazards. Our technicians take precise measurements and mount your opener correctly for optimal performance.

Precise Spring and Tension Calibration
Springs and cables must be properly tensioned for the opener to lift your door safely and smoothly. Professional installation ensures perfect calibration.

Correct Safety Sensor Installation
Safety sensors must be properly aligned and positioned. Incorrect placement compromises safety. We install and align sensors to meet current safety codes.

Proper Electrical Setup
Opener installation involves electrical connections that must be done correctly to ensure safe operation. We handle all wiring with precision and follow electrical codes.

Limit Switch Configuration
Limit switches tell the opener when the door is fully open or closed. Improper adjustment causes the door to stop at the wrong position. We calibrate limit switches precisely.

Remote and Wall Button Programming
We program your remote controls and wall buttons so they’re ready to use immediately after installation. We also explain all features and operation.

Smart System Setup
If you’re installing a smart opener, we configure Wi-Fi connectivity, set up the smartphone app, and integrate it with your home automation system.

Safety Compliance
New installations meet current safety codes and standards. We ensure your opener includes proper safety features and emergency mechanisms.

The Opener Installation Process

Free Consultation and Assessment
We evaluate your existing garage door, opening size, and specific needs. We discuss opener options, types, brands, and features to help you choose the best system for your situation.

Opener Selection
We present options that balance your needs, budget, and preferences. Whether you need an affordable basic opener or a premium smart-enabled system, we help you find the right fit.

Transparent Pricing
We provide detailed estimates with no hidden fees. You’ll know exactly what your installation will cost before we begin work.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I could not be more grateful for Moses with A Plus Garage Doors. I called their company based on a referral I got from a friend who recently hired them for work on their home. Moses came to our home at 11:00pm on a Friday night because our garage door wouldn’t shut and he fixed it within 30 minutes. He was incredibly polite and I truly appreciated the fact that I was able to go to sleep without my garage door left open all night. I highly recommend this company
